ITS 2014 workshops are designed to provide an opportunity for in-depth discussions of current and emerging topics of interest to the ITS community. We encourage workshop proposals that bring together people working on new and developing research topics that stimulate highly interactive discussions. Those proposing a workshop should provide information that the workshop is of interest to the ITS community, and why a workshop on this particular topic is valuable. Workshop organizers and participants are also expected to attend the main ITS conference.

Proposal requirements and format (2-4 pages total length for proposal):
- Title
- Length of workshop: full or half-day
- Names, short biographies, and contact information of workshop (co-)chair(s)
- Detailed description of the workshop topic’s importance to the ITS community
- Description of the workshop theme(s) and content or area
- List of international program committee members and their affiliations. To ensure a workshop is of interest to the broader ITS community, members should (if possible) include members from various sectors (e.g., academia, publishing companies, industry, military)
- Proposed format of the workshop (e.g., approximate timeline) and type of activities (e.g., paper presentations, discussions, demos, etc.)
- Proposed plan do encourage workshop submissions (e.g., workshop website, submit workshop call to international organizations, etc.)
- Please indicate any potential solicitation plans for workshop funding from sources, such as international projects, research networks, or industry. (External funding is not required for acceptance.)
- Special requirements (e.g., wireless capability, LCD projector, microphones, etc.)

Important dates:
Workshop proposal submission deadline: January 26, 2014
Workshop decisions: February 22, 2014
Workshop camera-ready copy due: March 12, 2014
Workshops: June 5-6, 2014

Workshop Proceedings:
Printed workshops proceedings will be prepared and distributed to those registered for each workshop. In addition, each workshop will also have a one-page summary in the main conference proceedings.
